Your city’s zero-waste strategies are some of the most ambitious in the country, and it shows. Now, your kids will visit it in a museum. You remember visiting the wheel on school trips decades ago. The 60-foot float carrying the retired trash wheel - once an iconic waterfront fixture - glides joyously down the street. You’re surprised to find yourself a little misty-eyed at this Harbor Day parade. ![]()
